The fact that we stay twice a year is an endorsement of this wonderful cottage and indeed Silverdale. Situated in a beautiful and tranquil spot, it is ideally placed for walks along Morecambe Bay to Jenny Brown's Point and the nearby woods. It is also convenient for trips to the beautiful Lakes and Dales. This spacious stone cottage fronted by a pretty garden is very comfortable having everything that you would need for a perfect holiday. The cottage is run by Denise and her family who go out of their way to ensure that you have a wonderful stay. I cannot praise this picturesque cottage and its location enough.

Wolf House Cottage and its surroundings provide a haven of peace in an increasingly stressful world. We’ve been coming every year since 2017 and always return home regenerated and with a wonderful sense of calmness.The whole of the Silverdale area is interlaced with lovely walks and the views over the Bay from the front of Wolf House itself are stunning, particularly after a spectacular sunset.It’s become our spiritual home!

The Wolfhouse cottage is a very special place. I have been visiting with family and friends for 10 years and it is always a treat and something we all look forward to. The old cottage is welcoming and cosy, the views are stunning and the surrounding countryside is perfect for walking.

We're looking forward to another summer stay at the Old Cottage, having stayed over New Year 2024-5. Denise and family are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. The Cottage is well furnished, with an excellently equipped kitchen, and has all that is needed for a relaxing holiday. Very comfortable beds make for a peaceful night's sleep and, during the daytime in summer. the secluded garden is ideal. We have stayed at the Wolf House regularly for more than 20 years, and would have no hesitation in recommending a visit.

The Old Cottage is full of charm and a very relaxing place to stay with everything you need. It has a beautiful conservatory overlooking the garden and fields..often graced by early morning deer. So close to amazing views across the bay and local walks in Silverdale. We look forwards to returning again very soon. Thank you Denise and family for creating such a beautiful place to stay.

Fabulous accommodation and so interesting to read about the Coach House and its contents. Beautiful area with great walks and views. Log burner made for very relaxing chilled evenings. Thanks to Denise for the very thoughtful wine flowers and scrumptious biscuits.We certainly managed to recharge our batteries. We wanted for nothing and as a group of friends it was everything and more that we needed.We hope to be back.

Idyllic spot, first time visitors to Silverdale & we couldn't have picked a better location than The Coach House. Lovely welcome from the owner Denise, cottage well equipped, Christmas decorations up for our New Year stay and beautiful first floor lounge with cosy log burner - a perfect spot to admire the stunning views and sunsets. Nice little cafe & gallery next door and lots of walks right on the doorstep. Would love to return in the summer to take advantage of the pretty outside terrace. Would thoroughly recommend.

Four of us had an absolutely wonderful week in the Old Cottage in late October this year. The cottage is as warm and cosy and comfortable as you could ever want and is not only well provided with essentials for an effortless holiday, it is also furnished with delightful pieces of art and other artefacts. it has a very effective heating system - essential for a winter stay - but also an extremely efficient gas fire, perfect for sitting around with books and wine and conversation. And with William, the perfect feline host!
The location is perfect too, with wonderful coastal walks at your doorstep and the added attractions of a very well-stocked gallery and a cafe with excellent food and a great welcome only twenty paces away!
We are already re-booking; what better recommendation can there be?

A very warm and friendly welcome from Denise and Rachel - they were very helpful and kind and were keen to ensure we had a wonderful holiday. The cottage is in a fabulous location in a really delightful area - all so quiet and calming. The views are lovely and there are lots of local walks in all directions. Plus lots of interesting places to visit nearby. There is a great café next door serving excellent coffee and delicious food - plus a very nice gallery. The adjacent farm sells fresh free range eggs and amazing fresh raw milk. We had a very easy and relaxing time and were able to really rest and restore. Thank you.

We stayed in June at the Coach house and it was just perfect. The owners where lovely, answered every email promptly in the lead up to our stay and couldn't have been more accomodating once we arrived. The house is in the ideal location, and although in a seemingly very busy spot at the weekend you never felt overlooked or overcrowded.

Wouldn't book anywhere else now when looking for Silverdale.

Stunning house and views and a very warm welcome were just what I needed after shielding and lockdowns . A wonderful place to recover from a strange year. A lot of love and thought has gone into creating a place this beautiful. I have hardly begun exploring the many walks in the area (some straight from the door). So I have to return!

We spent a lovely week in the Coach House. The cottage is comfortable, well equipped and warm. The position is perfect for walking/cycling from the door.
A lovely welcome from the owner, Denise, who was there to answer any queries all week.

We had a lovely winter weekend break staying at the Coach House. It was warm and inviting with lots of eclectic charm. It was stocked with everything you could need for cooking and entertaining, a real home from home. We loved the cosy evenings in front of the wood burner. There are wonderful views and plenty of country walks on your doorstep.
Denise was so welcoming and the wine and fresh flowers was a lovely surprise. Many thanks from Diane and friends.
